Sculpture has always been a passion of mine because it is a form of art that is immediately understandable. Unlike painting, where interpretation and translation are required to portray what you see onto a canvas, sculpture allows me to simply shape what I observe. It is an intuitive process that I thoroughly enjoy. One aspect that I particularly love about sculpture is the ability to guide the viewer's attention physically. I can create surfaces that are visually captivating, enticing people to touch them. Moreover, I find great satisfaction in transforming materials that others may deem disposable into beautiful, enduring artworks. It is fascinating to deceive the eye by crafting something that appears precious but is actually made of throwaway materials, or something that appears heavy but is surprisingly light. Sculpture truly provides a unique and enthralling artistic experience.
